Pedestrian Accidents in Florida
Pedestrians are some of the most at-risk parties on our roads who are prone to some of the most catastrophic harm in the event of an accident. Recent statistics have shown that approximately 20% of all fatal accidents in the entire U.S. involve pedestrians. Florida is no stranger to these accidents and, in fact, pedestrian-related crashes happen more commonly in Florida than many other states. If you have suffered harm in one of these accidents, it is important that you speak with a skilled attorney.
Pedestrian accidents happen too often in Florida each year, which is why drivers are urged to use special precautions around these areas and always keep their eyes open for pedestrians. Many of these collisions lead to serious injuries including TBIs, fractures, organ damage, road rash, and more. Pedestrians will typically spend a long amount of time in the hospital and away from work, which can impact their lives in many ways. In the blink of an eye, your life could be turned upside-down in a pedestrian accident. It is important that you seek the help of a Florida pedestrian accident attorney for assistance with your personal injury claim.
